This is the Met Office Codes Registry for controlled terminology and specifications. The reference material is for research purposes, it does not provide an operational service.

Content Changes

Content changes can be made by requesting a change from a site administrator. Any requested change will be assessed on its individual merits, and potential impact on other users. If you'd like to request a change please email enquiries@metoffice.gov.uk.

Note: Any requests to change an entry already in the register should include a link to the entry.
