Weather Impacts & Advice data are defined as derived environmental data, based on outputs from Observations and/or Predictions & Post Processed data, often produced following human intervention or through managed data interpretation automations for the purpose of providing insight on current and near future weather to forecast customers. Examples include output from the Guidance Unit such as a warning, output from the Operations Centre such as a regional script, Contextual Data such as TAFs from other front-line production teams. Examples where Weather Impacts and Advice data are produced via full automation include assessments of the likelihood of severe weather, nowcasting, situational awareness data, tropical cyclone tracks and weather impacts, generally designed for use by specialist meteorologists.
