Entry: Predictions & Post Processed
URI: http://reference.metoffice.gov.uk/DataCategories/data-types/PredictionsPostProcessed
Predictions and Post Processed data are defined as data that infers a full coverage of the state of the physical environment within a given domain. This includes data assimilation analysis, projections and predictions to different times and post processed outputs derived from predictions. Data are produced using automated production typically in large volumes controlled by algorithms and data science. Prediction data can take many forms, but they always have a Geospatial Feature, Coverage or native grids on creation. They may be packaged differently for supply for customer requirement.
